Summary
Feelings of employee trust and psychological safety vary widely throughout an organization. Data from Forrester’s Future Of Work Survey, 2023, revealed that more employees trust their immediate team members than other groups in their company. Human resources (HR) should be highly ranked on this list, but our data shows that it’s among the least trusted groups in an organization. With only 49% of employees reporting that they trust HR to follow through on their promises, there’s a lot of room left for improvement in the relationship between employees and their HR department.
