Agile places a high value on interaction and collaboration. In addition to the usual members of the agile team (product management, product development/engineering, and product design/user experience), there are other roles such as portfolio marketing, sales, and customer engagement that need to be involved as a product is developed using an agile approach. In this report, we provide recommendations for how and when to include functions outside of the agile team in an agile development effort, aligning with the three cycles of the Agile Engine For Product Management.
