C-level professionals have accelerated their investments in automation to become more competitive in the market. Within technology teams, automation has taken hold, from hybrid cloud management to continuous delivery. However, even after the emergence of virtual network functions (VNFs) and the deployment of programmable switches, most enterprise networking teams have done little to move network automation forward.
