Summary

How much effort is required to become more data literate in the age of AI and data? According Forrester’s Data Culture And Literacy Survey, 2023, just over half of the employees at any given organization should be data literate in order to achieve strategic outcomes. However, global data and analytics employees report that an average of only 41% are data literate. The findings indicate that in general, organizations should encourage employees to be 1.3x more data literate than their current state. Change is gradual, and a complete transformation is not necessary. By focusing on small, incremental changes, becoming more data-savvy becomes less overwhelming and more achievable.
