Summary

Mobile devices empower road warriors, but flexible workspaces can add to corporate risk. We compared the behavior of SMB and enterprise information worker road warriors with that of all information workers. Road warriors' in-person, client-facing behavior leads to higher usage of mobile devices and to a wider variety of workspace locations. However, road warriors' security practices, combined with their broad access to private corporate data, can open the door to security breaches.
