Security and development professionals in the build phase of Forrester’s Secure What You Sell Model use software composition analysis (SCA) tools to gain visibility into the security, license, and operational risks of open source and third-party components. As part of the research for our Forrester Wave™ evaluation of SCA tools in Q2 2023, we collected data from 31 reference customers about their top priorities and adoption trends. Security professionals and development leaders should use this report to benchmark their SCA priorities and practices across the organization and plan improvements.
