Summary

In Forrester's 62-criteria evaluation of global banking platform vendors, we identified the eight most significant software providers — FIS, Infosys, Oracle, Polaris Financial Technology (Polaris FT), SAP, Sopra Banking Software, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and Temenos — in the category and researched, analyzed, and scored them. TCS, Infosys, Sopra Banking Software, and Temenos lead this market, while the other vendors perform strongly. However, any of these solutions may be the right choice for an individual bank, depending on its requirements and deployment scenario. As Oracle declined to participate in this evaluation, Forrester evaluated its solutions as a nonparticipating vendor. This report and the accompanying model detail our findings about how well each vendor fulfills our criteria and where vendors stand in relation to each other to help application development and delivery professionals at financial services firms select the right partner for their off-the-shelf global banking platform, including their core banking and multichannel solution.
