Summary
In 2023, a year both plagued by layoffs and marked by excitement around generative AI, designers stayed committed to human-centered design. Forrester’s State Of Design Survey, 2023, found that design teams made investments in accessibility and increased their focus on data collection and tech-related skills. However, we found that design teams could do more to invest in conversational design. This report draws on our survey data to analyze the state of design teams across Asia Pacific, North America, and Europe, looking at three main trends.
