Summary

Technology, marketing, and employee experience leaders with employees in Italy should use this third installment of Forrester’s European PandemicEX Survey — fielded in October in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK — to understand how their Italian employees are experiencing the pandemic’s impact now versus in March and in May. Some 61% of Italian employees felt they personally were safe from the virus in October: This is the highest percentage across Europe and a sharp contrast to the 25% of French and Spanish workers who feel safe. Some 59% of Italian employees remain confident that their firm’s executives will handle the crisis in the best way possible, and 57% believe that their company will prioritize their health and well-being when making decisions about COVID-19 risks. Through the second wave, you must navigate your employees’ evolving sentiments and attitudes; support them when they work remotely; and create a safe environment when they’re in the workplace.
