US consumers who make an in-store purchase are more likely to provide in-store feedback than consumers who don’t make a purchase. Both groups are most likely to provide feedback to a live person and when the retailer offers them discounts as an incentive. In this report, we analyze customer feedback preferences and recommend ways retailers can enhance their in-store feedback collection processes.
