Digital banking engagement platforms (DBEPs) have been here for a while, and their digital apps can deliver differentiating customer experience. Some banks target unique experiences, however. In the past, these banks had to build and assemble their entire “omnichannel stack” on their own. The emergence of a new banking software product category will help banks efficiently deliver unique experiences. This report defines the category of the digital banking engagement hub, explains its key benefits, and discusses differences between engagement hubs and platforms.
