On April 16 and 17, 2007, Forrester held its inaugural Security Forum EMEA in Amsterdam, with more than 100 security and risk (S&R) professionals in attendance. We asked many of these delegates about the issues that matter the most to them in performing their jobs — the challenges and worries that they face every day. Policy, compliance, and risk management are top of mind for managers responsible for security and risk; they also worry about how their roles will change in an enterprise security landscape that will shift the focus from traditional technology issues to more broadly integrated issues of business risk — and wonder what they personally need to do to meet these new job challenges.
