Employee experience (EX) ownership is diverse across many different departments; EX leaders are typically responsible for a number of different EX initiatives. Most EX teams are small (with five or fewer members) and have limited budgets. EX leaders rely heavily on surveys to gauge success, and firms use culture surveys, retention data, and employee engagement surveys to measure EX. EX leaders should prioritize creating an EX strategy and then highlight the positive business benefits of an improved EX in order to gain access to necessary resources.
