Executive Vice President, Chief Technology and Operations Officer, Union Bank of the Philippines

Dennis D. Omila holds the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Information and Operations Officer of Union Bank of the Philippines (UnionBank). He was a former Board Director of UBX Philippines (UnionBank’s fintech spin-off) and is an Executive Advisor of the Digital Integration Commitee – the Technical Governance and Oversight commitee for all of UnionBank’s subsidiaries.

Before joining the Bank, he was the Senior Vice President of the Infrastructure Engineering and Service Operations of Globe Telecom, Inc. Prior to that, he was an entrepreneur and is the President/COO of NetX Technology Solutions, Inc.

Mr. Omila is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP), and a Certified CheckPoint Security Instructor (CCSI).

In 2020, Mr. Omila was awarded one of the Top 10 of the Top 50 Tech Leaders in Southeast Asia by CIO of the Interntaional Data Group (IDG).
