Summary

BT was a pioneer of fixed-mobile convergence (FMC), launching the first commercial offer in the UK in 2005 for consumers and small business. At the root of BT's early market leadership for FMC solutions for multinationals (MNCs) are continuous trials with technology partners, smartphone agnosticism, and deep and broad experience managing complex MNC voice environments. BT addresses divergent MNC needs by working with customers on a bespoke basis to assess their specific current-state telephony and mobile challenges and priorities and helping to define a future-state strategy and road map.
