Summary

From early 2013 through January 2014, several major global and Chinese players in the mission-critical enterprise application software market — such as Infor, Kingdee, SAP, and Yonyou — have moved to enter China's software-as-a-service (SaaS) market or expand their presence in it. Other players, such as Microsoft and Oracle, also have a great opportunity in the Chinese market, thanks to the official launch of Windows Azure and the preview release of Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the country. The adoption of cloud-based mission-critical applications in China will accelerate in the next 12 months. This report analyzes each vendor's offerings in the Chinese market.
