On Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the International Strategy & Investment (ISI) Fourth Annual Retail Summit in Atlanta, Frank Blake, chairman and CEO of The Home Depot, talked about the firm's age of the customer strategies and investments. The presentation built off the strategy that the management team laid out at its December 2013 investor conference in Boston. In December, the company committed $300 million to updating its physical distribution centers, IT systems, and business processes to address customers' demands for same-day in-store shipment.
