Why Read This Report

Case management deployment options confuse enterprise architects that struggle to compare the value of a "fit to purpose" solution versus a dynamic case management (DCM) platform capability. We find that specialist providers overstate their platform agility while DCM vendors exaggerate their domain fit. To provide deployment guidance for enterprise architects, we isolated 11 criteria across 18 case management areas. The result? DCM platforms will excel in five use case areas, and domain-specific solutions will grab the largest share of these use case areas, with specific buyer criteria determining best fit for the rest.
