More than one-third of US online adults consume newspaper content digitally by spending time on newspaper websites or reading digital publications. Those who read both print and digital newspaper content skew male and are more likely to visit websites that newspaper ads point them toward. Because they’re consuming this digital content on a number of devices with different screen sizes, publishers should develop responsive sites to reach this tech-savvy audience.
