Marketplaces are taking an increasing share of online retail sales: 59% of B2C online retail spend came from marketplaces in 2018. This report uses data from Forrester's Online Marketplace Tracker, 2015 To 2020 (Global) across 18 marketplaces and 17 countries. We added seven new marketplaces in 2019 to give market share and growth at a country level for the following marketplaces: AliExpress, Allegro, Amazon, Cdiscount, Coupang, eBay, ETSY, Flipkart, JD.com, Lazada, Mercado Libre, NetEase Kaola, Pinduoduo, Rakuten, Snapdeal, Tmall, VIPShop, and Walmart.
