Summary

Forrester developed the request for proposal/request for information (RFP/RFI) tool based on past experience and research into the widest range of possible environmental requirements. The tool includes information to compile to evaluate vendors' software asset management solutions; after collecting the information necessary to score proposed solutions on the evaluation criteria, users can apply their own weightings and compare vendor offerings. This tool should be adapted based on specific product specs and your organization's objective of identifying environmentally preferable products. Alone, this tool is not sufficient for determining a prioritized list of solutions. It should be used as a support tool in the decision-making process.
