Summary

With nearly 5 million Canadians headed into retirement in the next 10 years — and younger Canadians beginning to plan for their own retirements — eBusiness and channel strategy professionals need to ensure that consumers see their firm as a qualified provider of retirement products. Investors Group takes the top spot, with independent advisors and large banks' investment arms following close behind. Consumers told us that a firm's stability, reliability, and customer advocacy affect their view of that firm's retirement planning qualifications. Managers at insurance and investment firms should follow the lead of the top-tier providers by displaying retirement capabilities through messaging and customer outreach through multiple channels.
