Specific topics covered in this report include site merchandising tactics, headcount dedicated to various eCommerce functions such as merchandising and IT, and details regarding the execution of global online selling efforts. Retailers that we surveyed reported that their investments in site merchandising have bolstered eCommerce revenues, as conversion rates for most web retailers increased between 2010 and 2011.
