Summary

Over the past couple of years, Latin America has risen on many global companies' priority lists of new markets to focus on and understand. Given the meteoric rise of social networks like orkut and Twitter, entertainment sites like Quepasa, and Latin Americans' willingness to connect with companies over social media, all companies with a focus on this market must examine consumers' online behaviors. This report is dedicated to helping companies understand the online behaviors of both metropolitan Brazilians and metropolitan Mexicans on the PC and on the mobile phone. Understanding these first adopters of the online world will allow companies to test their online and mobile strategies and build successful voice of the customer programs that resonate with this highly social and entertainment-driven consumer market.
