Overall, B2B partner ecosystems are expanding. According to Forrester’s B2B Benchmark Metrics Data, in the next 12 months growth in the number of partners is expected to increase across the entire spectrum of partner types, including both transacting and nontransacting partners. For example, roughly half of B2B partner ecosystem/channel marketers expect the number of strategic alliance partners, technology/developer partners, or distributor partners in their ecosystem to increase.
