Summary
In 2022, we asked online adults about their delivery preferences: 20% of those in metropolitan China, 19% in metropolitan India, and 10% in Australia said they use in-store pickup because they don’t have a good/safe place for a package to be delivered to. Retailers should analyze the feasibility of offering alternate pickup locations for customers who can’t get to one of their own stores. This snapshot reviews Asia Pacific consumers’ interest in alternate delivery options (i.e., non-home delivery), such as collecting an order from a nearby locker, convenience store, or other third-party location.
