B2C Organizations In Europe Prioritize Zero Trust Implementation To Increase Resilience

Summary

Due to their larger attack surface, B2C firms suffer breaches more often than their B2B counterparts. In 2022, 40% of B2C companies in Europe reported having been breached three to five times in the past year, compared with just 17% of B2B firms. B2C security leaders see Zero Trust (ZT) adoption as the right way to address the problem and realize tangible improvements: Among security decision-makers at B2C enterprises in Europe, 34% say that implementing or improving ZT security will be a top strategic IT or information security priority in the next 12 months, compared with 21% of their B2B counterparts. This report is a snapshot of Forrester’s data on Zero Trust adoption in Europe.
