A technology roadmap defines a vision and documents a plan for building a new technology infrastructure driven by the organization’s objectives. Too often, technology purchases are made hastily because companies don’t perform full due diligence to address a specific priority, or they make decisions in silos without considering how new systems will affect processes and data flow across functions.
