Across household income bands, there is very little variation in the adoption of “buy now, pay later” (BNPL) options to make a purchase. According to Forrester’s Consumer Technographics Benchmark Survey, 2021,9% of US online adults whose household income is less than $25K have used a BNPL option to make a purchase in the past three months. The same proportion of US online adults who have a household income of $100K or higher have used BNPL in the last three months. This report provides a snapshot of Forrester’s data on the adoption of BNPL solutions across household income bands.
