API management software is a well-established market, but its relevance continues to grow due to organizations accelerating the maturity and size of their API programs. As part of our research for “The Forrester Wave™: API Management Software, Q3 2024,” we surveyed 36 customers of the 15 API management software vendors we evaluated. The questions focused on several areas, including why buyers choose a vendor, what they like, and what they dislike. This report draws insights from these companies’ experiences with the Forrester Wave vendors’ products. The responses also show that today’s customers rely on API management for advancing business outcomes.
