As B2B organizations strive to better embody their brand promise, inspire employees to be brand ambassadors, and attract purpose-driven Millennials, corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs have flourished and matured. The most effective and durable CSR programs balance central and regional control and focus on a small number of key issues aligned to the organization’s core mission. This case study describes how CA Technologies designed and implemented a strategically aligned CSR program in its EMEA region. CA’s focus on the career aspirations of young people and its partnership with nonprofits and customers CSR program were keys to its success.
