More and more enterprises are supporting Google for email and calendar. Once deployed, organizations consider Google for additional applications, such as Google Docs. Google Docs provides a simple method for storing, managing, and sharing content. Although Google Docs lacks the functionality required to meet a company's full enterprise content management (ECM) requirements to ensure content integrity, it can still play an enterprise role. Adding a value scale to the content spectrum will enable alignment to the right solution: Google Docs or a more traditional ECM technology.
