Summary

USA Network (USA) has long-running TV series that have created a huge inventory of syndicated content. Hoping to use this surplus of content along with original content to further engage its fans, USA partnered with Bunchball to "gamify" its show Psych by creating a gamified microsite called Club Psych. Engagement boomed as loyal fans consumed and shared content in exchange for points. The results were so successful that USA has extended its gamification efforts to mobile devices such as phones and tablets and has gamified more network shows.
