Many B2B organizations have undergone multiple acquisitions and their product management teams are often composed of individuals with a range of backgrounds and skill levels. This variability affects the productivity of individual team members and can impede a cohesive effort toward achieving broader business objectives. A product management competency assessment can direct individual learning and upskilling programs and assess their level of success. In this report, we describe how to prepare for, execute, and analyze the results of a product management competency assessment.
