Four-fifths of US online adults say that delivery status tracking is important for retailers or brands to offer on their websites, per Forrester’s April 2023 Consumer Pulse Survey. A slightly higher number consider the ability to see final pricing, including shipping and taxes, to be important (86%). US online adults also say in-store product availability (76%) and ratings and reviews (72%) are important website features. Retailers should review their product detail pages and test ways to show these factors clearly, especially the total final price. This data snapshot indicates key areas for retailers to continually test and improve to meet customer expectations.
