European Telecom Operator Managed Services Deals Survey: H2 2006

At the end of 2006, Forrester carried out its second survey of telecom service providers in Europe to track these vendors' successes in the market for telecom and IT managed services and outsourcing deals. We looked at details of 188 deals that service providers signed in H2 2006, of which 45 (24%) included IT services; in H1 2006, we saw 68 deals, with 41% including IT. However, the survey is not yet mature enough to draw any conclusions from this drop. The top three telecom services in H2 2006 were managed WAN data, managed IP PBXs, and managed security services. The top three IT services were IT infrastructure (managed hosting), support services, and managed LANs.
