Global Business Technographics® Security Survey, 2016: Overview

This report is our overview of security decision-makers’ adoption of network security and security operations technologies; adoption of sourcing solutions to protect public cloud deployments; mobile concerns; security policies and tools; and security breaches. We used data from Forrester’s Global Business Technographics® Security Survey, 2016, and analyzed the data globally by company size. Our analysis shows that as organizations grow in size, they require more security technologies. When it comes to mobile, security concerns are still high, but organizations continue to lack sufficient policies and tools to protect employees’ device usage. As a result, security incidents often involve both company- and employee-owned assets.
