Summary

More than a year into the global pandemic, Italy is seeing infection and hospitalization rates slow down significantly but fears of potential new flare-ups remain. Although most Italian regions are preparing for a "normal" summer, Italian workers are experiencing a trust crisis. They're growing increasingly skeptical about their employers' ability to drive them out of the emergency into a stable and more prosperous future. In March 2021, we fielded a fourth wave of our PandemicEX survey to take a pulse of European and Italian workers. This report outlines how Italian employees feel about remote working, vaccinations, and the potential return to "normal" work one year into the pandemic.
