Summary
Hydrasight predicts that the majority of Asia Pacific CIOs in 2009 will be forced to become more reactive and tactically driven rather than working at the strategic level they desire. This will be particularly so for those in less resilient organizations, as well as those who have failed to prepare appropriately for inevitable economic downturn. "Manage to budget" will replace "manage to objective" for an increasing number of CIOs/IT organizations through at least 2010.
