Among US online adults, approximately three-quarters say it’s important for retailers to include final total pricing, including shipping and tax — and they want to see the estimated date and time that their order will arrive. About two-thirds say it’s important that the e-commerce site show information about the products as well as customer reviews. Plus, in a current time of supply chain issues, they want to be able to receive alerts when an out-of-stock item becomes available again. US online adults also want omnichannel information, such as in-store product availability (66%) and the ability to buy an item online and then pick it up in-store (60%).
