Intranet Satisfaction Levels Show Steady Improvement

Forrester’s Workforce Surveys, 2019 to 2023, demonstrate that satisfaction with corporate intranets increased slowly but steadily from 2019 to 2022 and stabilized in 2023. The share of global information workers who use a computer to access their company intranets at least weekly and expressed satisfaction with its ability to meet their needs increased from 66% in 2019 to 77% in 2023. This improvement in satisfaction levels coincides with a modernization trend, with technology buyers sunsetting their homegrown, on-premises intranets in favor of cloud-native, packaged apps that are purpose-built to deliver personalized content and communications.
