Global digital business strategy decision-makers are balancing several top priorities for their customer-facing technology, per Forrester’s Digital Business Strategy Survey, 2024. Fully 41% of these global senior-level decision-makers say that developing or improving internal practitioner tools (user interfaces) is a top priority in the next 12 months. In addition, 36% say that adding tech to enhance human functions is also a top priority — although that ranges from 38% in North America and Asia Pacific to 34% in Europe. In a world hyperfocused on AI, tech that enhances human functions may allow businesses to implement more fundamental improvements to the tools that humans use.
