In Forrester’s Consumer Benchmark Survey, 2025, 71% of Singaporean online adults say they expect companies to tell them when they’re interacting with machine-generated content that uses generative AI (genAI). Around 60% of Singaporeans say that they have a basic understanding of how AI works, know how to be responsible and ethical themselves when using genAI, and know how to effectively ask a genAI tool to create something — more than their peers in Australia, the UK, and the US — but only 46% trust information provided by genAI in the first place.
