According to recent Forrester data, just over one-quarter of global software decision-makers now use multitenant software as a service (SaaS) to primarily deploy their digital experience solutions (31%) and their commerce solutions (28%). However, legacy tech is often highly customized and massively costly to replace all at once, so organizations are moving incrementally to cloud. Today, only one in 10 global software decision-makers deploys the majority (75% to 100%) of their commerce and digital experience tech using SaaS. This report provides a snapshot of Forrester’s data on the adoption of multitenant SaaS deployment models for various types of commerce and digital experience solutions.
