However, enterprises face complex and shifting scenarios as they contend with a rapidly expanding array of digital content, significant eDiscovery demands, and a changing vendor landscape. The Forrester Research And ARMA International Online Records Management Survey, Q3 2009, highlights vendor and budget uncertainty, low satisfaction with current offerings, eDiscovery concerns, and plans to expand deployments in next year. Yet SaaS-based records management (RM) adoption will remain low in 2010, limited by decision-maker familiarity with available solutions and concerns about potential security and operational, privacy, and legal issues.
