Summary

Forrester recently surveyed our panel of 107 eBusiness and channel and product management executives to examine 2007 online budgets and priorities. Retail companies represented almost one-fifth of those 107 panelists. Looking at these companies' responses, two themes emerge. First, online retailing as a subset of eBusiness remains the most mature industry. Second, despite that maturity, online retailers continue to prepare for increased innovation and intense competition as many sellers dedicate more resources to the rapidly growing channel.
