Sourcing In An Age Of Mobility

Three major trends affect the currents of sourcing for enterprise mobility: virtualization, bring-your-own-device (BYOD) programs, and connected smart devices. Behind these trends lurk chilling consequences for unprepared organizations, since far too many organizations are operating with outdated sourcing strategies that are not suitable to address the mobility needs of the business. Sourcing professionals with vague sourcing strategies can end up locked in fractious debates with their executives, quarreling over BYOD policies, licensing compliance issues, overlooked tax implications, and savings opportunities.
