Southeast Asia’s Corporate Banks Are Making Steady Progress In AI Adoption

Corporate banks in Southeast Asia are charging forward with AI; Forrester’s 2024 data shows that AI adoption is booming in the region’s corporate banking sector. Six in 10 business and technology pros at corporate banks in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam report that their organization has already begun implementing conversational or generative AI products for department-level use cases at a limited scale. This drive for innovation extends to explainable AI; more than half of respondents indicate similar levels of implementation for this. This is a snapshot of Forrester’s data on emerging tech adoption by corporate banks in Southeast Asia.
