Over the years, BMC Software has evolved BSM from thought leadership to a successful business proposition. Through key acquisitions such as Remedy and IT Masters and carefully orchestrated internal innovations such as the CMDB and a fresh marketing message, BMC has developed BSM into a locomotive that is now in a position to pull the whole IT management software train of associated monitoring and IT management technologies. By aligning BSM with ITIL processes and workflow automation, BMC Software is slowly winning its strategic partner position in the enterprise accounts.
