From the common printer to industry-specific scales and temperature sensors, IoT devices are scattered across today’s enterprises. But because of limited local security controls and resources, these devices are unable to utilize security solutions like endpoint detection and response (EDR). Architects and security leaders must help their organization deliver IoT security that safeguards operations but protects the devices from compromise. Using common building blocks and a repeatable process, architects can deliver a protection model that addresses the riskiest assets first but is operable across the organization.
